Katie in Manchester

Katie had never heard of Doctor Who until 'Rose' aired in 2005. From that moment on, she was hooked, actively searching out Doctor Who merchandise from both old and new school. Her current favourite pieces are her 12" Imperial Dalek, more often known as Steve, and her Palitoy Dalek, who has yet to gain himself a name.

Now admittedly more of a classic series fan, her favourite Doctor has ended up being the Sixth and her favourite companion being Ace. She admits to having a 'thing' for the eighties Doctors and their companions, although she does love all of the Doctors and all of the companions. Yes, even Mel and Adric.

Although her collection will, most likely, remain small, it doesn't bother her that much - she's not too bothered with getting every single piece of merchandise produced, but she would be quite pleased with a few more Dapol figures.

Merchandise

Corgi Die-cast Figures
These are all of the readily obtainable Corgi figures. Those little rock-like things are only there to prevent Davros and his Dalek friend from rolling off the shelf again.
Dapol figures
Ace and Seven with no boxes, as well as Ace, Seven, a Time Lord (burgundy), the Master and Mel in boxes.
Palitoy Dalek
With his original box and sucker-arm - he has a replacement eyestalk, which is pictured, and a replacement gun-arm, which has yet to be put into use. I adore this little guy, I must admit. He was £50 to buy, if I remember correctly...
Dalek Sec, Dalek Thay and the Genesis Ark.
Sec was bought seperately, and the Genesis Ark and Thay came with an `Army of Ghosts` giftset that also included Preacher Mickey (without his gun, but with his teleportation medallion) and a damaged Cyberman.
Daleks
Four Daleks. From the left, it`s Assault Dalek, then Mutant Reveal Dalek, followed by two `battle` Daleks.
The Doctor and his companions
Two Roses, a Preacher Mickey, Star Poet Sarah Jane, two K9s (one of which is remote-controlled), Martha and the Tenth Doctor.
Cybermen and the Master
Three Cybermen - one normal, one Leader and one Damaged - and the two Masters from the Professor gift-set. I`m rather fond of how the Cybermen are set-up...
Cyberman room-guard
Scares the bejeebus out of the dog, but hasn`t been used much. It looks pretty though.
`Steve` the Dalek.
Steve is a 12" Imperial Dalek. I think he`s rather awesome.
Dalek egg-cup
From Marks & Spencer`s 2007 Easter stuff. I think he`s quite cute, despite his lack of most things Dalek-like.
