| I read on DW news page that the old Daleks are not gone for good. This apparently from Moffet himself, but rather the new Daleks will form an officer elite with the older versions working under them. |

Wow, what a back pedal by the production team if true! Let's face it, the new red Drone class was obviously meant to be the new 'standard' Dalek. This must be an about turn after the almost unanimous thumbs down the new design received.
Mind you, I'm not complaining. I loved the look of the RTD era Daleks and still don't understand how this new design made it past the bin! |

| I personally think the Genesis daleks are by far the most imposing and daunting design and colour matched with Wishers Davros,whats scarier almost terrifying in a subtle way than that. |

| Let's see how Moffat manages to paper over the inevitable mutual hatred of new and old Daleks. Perhaps it will be dispensed with in a couple of sentences, as usual - a "So that's all right then" approach. |

| I don't remember where I heard this BUT I was told that the reason for Amy Pond not knowing anything about the Dalek's was for a future episode if the new Dalek's were really disliked the 2 factions (old/new Dalek's) would have a battle against each other back in time & then either the old OR new one's would win depending on the publics feelings towards the new Dalek's..., might have been just an idea or just rubbish though!!! |
