In a somewhat suprising move, CO have skipped the Second Doctor and gone straight for an Enemies of the Third Doctor set instead: http://bit.ly/pY3OWz

I've got to say, I love the Drashig. I did have a chuckle when I saw that!

Not totally surprising given the biggest enemies of the Second Dr worked at the BBC wiping him out.

You can just see the set of three...

BBC technician in white coat.
BBC archivist with glasses accessory.
Dasterdly memo ordering destruction.

It'll fly of the shelves.

The 3rd Dr's enemies do look good though...

I object to buying a mere portion of a monster.

If Zygons were green, they'd be gherkins.

They do look really nice... it's just getting so much money now to keep up with collecting them all.

Really love the Third Doctor's enemies set. Got it for Christmas and I was very happy to see that the Drashig is in fact a handpuppet! Omega's head actually comes off to reveal...well, nothing, and the interchangable hands on the Auton are a great touch that I'm glad they didn't leave out.

Now, if I had a chance to vote on a Second Doctor enemies set, it would probably have a Kroton (because they're too weird to overlook), a Quark and either a Yeti or Slaar. I hesitated saying Invasion Cyberman because that's already been released in the Cybermen series, so why just repackage an already-existing figure?

Now I need to look into getting that First Doctor set. Have a real weakness for the Mechanoids...

There is one US retailer that does have them in stock, send me an email and I will give you a list of retailers that are very reliable in the field of Who Merchandise.
