On a whim, I made a model of the Martian from "Quatermass and the Pit".



Making it made me realize just what a masterpiece of design it is, and how a] it is pretty much unsurpassed even up to now; b] that it is as iconic as the Dalek; and 3] what would a Who/Quatermass and the Pit crossover be like? These beasties are begging to be revived in CGI.
If Zygons were green, they'd be gherkins.

I suspect the nearest we'll ever get to a crossover is Remembrance of the Daleks
