Sorry if this is old news to some but I've only just stumbled on the revelation that episode three of The Web of Fear was one of the missing episodes originally discovered by Phillip Morris and his team! Gutting to hear that sometime between the initial discovery and their return to the BBC, episode three went walkies  . Even worse, it seems that a so called 'fan' paid to have it swiped for their own private collection! Pretty poor show if true.
It does make you wonder though if there's some %*#¥$€ out there with Power of the Daleks or similar in their own private collection, forever denied to the rest of us
