I just worry though that if an older Doctor is revealed the new generation will lose interest and the demise will begin.... Its a double edge sword isn't it? DT pulled in every age group so are they bound to fear changing a winning formula so a youngish replacement is on the cards in my opinion.
Even if he doesn’t play the doctor it would be great if he had something to do with the show! Seeing as we had Troughton and Davidson’s kids in the last series!
....oh I don't know, maybe an actor by the name of Paterson Joseph might do well in the role?
Paterson Joseph would be a stark contrast to the superb David Tennant by having his own personal take on the character... probably less 'instinctive' but more 'performed'. It would be like 'Shakespeare in Space'!
Obviously it's all over along with the shouting now, but I'd have liked to see an older actor installed as well. At least Matt Smith isn't a typical sun kissed kid in the role but one does tremour at the lack of digits attached to his age.
I haven't seen him in much but what I have suggests he can at least act so here's hoping he does well.
But the cloister bell in my head keeps ring: 'What is Moffet thinking??'
