| I'll miss it. Will be travelling home from the footie, unless the weather calls it off. Not looking forward to it as I fear the Doctor might change his ethnicity or sex (or both) and shatter the realism in the show. If it's what I fear then I'll stop watching after the specials. I think Doctor Who could be about to jump the shark. |

| After watching the 39 steps, then Rupert would be a good choice... still think its between Paterson Joseph and John Simm (as a master/dr choice) Wearing the ring when he regenerates half evil half good???? |

Like life, Doctor Who is about change. Okay so we can swallow the premise of a man who travels through time and usually to 2008, and can travel aywhere in space and usually to London, when he dies can regenerate his body to one that comes with tattoos or fillings, .....but just wait a minute.....
A Black Doctor?
That would make the show unbelievable...! What next, a black US President?

Well, there are at least two black (male) actors in the running, so it's quite possible that we'll get a change in that department!!!
Personally I'd like to see Billie Piper or Alex Kingston do it, but I doubt that they'll be prepared to take such a leap of faith.
Am I the only one pleased to see David Tennant conclude his tenure?? |

No. He's been a great doctor but with Moffatt on board and the ridiculous kissing of companions its time for him to go... Alan Carr for Doctor Who!!!!
