Officially released 28th August 2009 and sold out almost immediately on pre-orders. No binder this time.
999 individually numbered boxes of 30 packs with 5 cards to a pack; 10 boxes per case, so that's 100 cases maximum.
72 base cards. Guaranteed 1 set per box. Every 9 cards in sequence makes up a Dalek film poster or similar on the back. Non-glossy monochrome cards.
Hand drawn sketch cards ( should be 999 in total, 24 different artists). Inserted 1 in every box. Some artists included as Redemptions only. Some artists have additionally done 10 returns each to be sold by them separately.
3 Hand signed Autograph cards plus 2 gold facsimile autograph cards (averaging just slightly better than 1 in every 2 boxes, these were stated as 1 per box!). Same cards as for the previous colour release.
9 Card Gold Ink Doctor Who Cast Movie bonus set. Inserted 1, 2 or 3 per box. Same cards as the previous colour release.
No numbered box topper cards for this release.
No film cel cards with this release.
No additional case topper incentives/sketches this time, although purchasers of multiple cases did receive bonus premium sketch cards.
No Dalek Casino Chip prototypes with this release.
NB Outer box is the same as the previous colour release (even down to the stated odds being unchanged and therefore incorrect). To differentiate this release, a small sticker saying "mono" has been attached to the outer cellophane box wrapper seal.
