I would argue Doctor Who is a scheduling queen or bishop at least - a far more powerful piece than a pawn. As such, it's in no danger. Its international ratings are fantastic.
As I'm not a child - and have no children - I can't get excited about the 'put it on earlier' argument. In fact, ramp up the violence and viscera of the Hinchcliffe era and put it on at midnight, I say. |
