If the BBC, in their infinite stupidity, release The Ice Warriors without animation after the interesting but ultimately not as hot a property as The Ice Warriors; then heads should roll.

I can't believe they would do it but being as inept as they have proved themselves to be over the years - it would not surprise me.

Steve Roberts has said we will not be disappointed by the release.

I thought all value added material hadn't been confirmed yet? I'll reserve judgement until I see the finished product.

I heard they're going to animate the two missing episodes of The Moonbase and re-release it as a single story on its own DVD, so my guess would be Underwater Menace 2 would be an extra on that.

I don't think it will be an extra.

It's unlikely they'll complete one half complete story with animation, then waste the chance to do the same with another story.

Interesting thought, they said that it was only economic to animate two episodes at most of a story, so that means ice warriors, moonbase, and now Underwater menace. Wouldn't mind that at all
