These are to be released together next March, so looks like one Special Edition I'll have to purchase, no choice!

Shame there's nothing Dalek-y left to release. It is their 50th Anniversary too...

I heard on the grape vine that someone had animated all the missing " Bits " will this be included on Shada ? Or have I got that completely wrong ?

Ian Levine has animated the unfilmed segments of Shada and has had all the surviving cast (bar Tom Baker) record an audio soundtrack for them. He's inserted these new segments into the surviving footage to make a complete version. It's completely unofficial and is unlikely to see a commercial release.

I count myself lucky that I have been fortunate to see it. I personally loved it. The animation is as good as, if not bettter thant that on The Invasion DVD. Viewing it 'complete' made me re-evaluate a story that I always thought didn't merit it's status as a lost classic. I now consider Shada to be as good as say , City Of Death.

The "non-use" of Ian Levine's version of Shada has caused much debate on certain forums...

Well, I enjoyed the Galaxy 4 bits on the Aztecs disc. Didn't really want a reissue of Aztecs though, so I've put Galaxy 4 in a new box on the shelf and given the other disc away!

Shame that the whole Galaxy 4 audio wasn't used though...

I hope you gave the old one away - it sounds like there's been significant cleanup work on the visuals and sound on this one.
