Okay, here you go. Please post your case or box breaks here. Please include the box numbers if you can, so we can try to keep track. No quantity too big or small. Good luck everyone. |

Receive my cases this morning. Was lucky enough to receive some Dalek Casino Chips but these look like they're going to be very limited as Barrie informed me that only 100 were made. The first thing I noticed is that there are now 72 base cards in the set and like the 2000ad cards, the backs make up a 9 panel picture. No collation problems here at all but all autos are REDEMPTIONS Besides that, I really love this set and on opening a case it appears that complete auto sets will be very easy to make. I'll post the exact breakdown very soon but in my first case I had 4 Tovey redemptions,3 Bown redemptions and 2 Graham redemptions. I also had 3 sketches (Pronovost, Hack and Henderson), 6 movie clip cards, a case topper sketch by Edwards and 4 sets of foils. I think Strictly Ink have done a great job on this set. Breakdown and pics will be on soon. |

Breakdown as follows:
561: Tovey auto redemption, movie clip card 562: Bown auto redemption, movie clip card 563: Graham auto redemption, movie clip card 564: Tovey auto redemption, Henderson sketch 565: Bown auto redemption, movie clip card 566: Graham redemption, Hack sketch 567: Tovey auto redemption, movie clip card 568: Bown auto redemption, movie clip card 569: Pronovost sketch 570: Tovey auto redemption, movie clip card
All boxes had 4 foil cards. I am due 3 pairs of the Cushing/Castle gold foil signature cards but Barrie forgot to put them in my cases. Sketches are on the top row of the scan, the other 4 were in my next case which I'll post shortly. In fact I'm struggling to upload the sketches as my computer is on a go slow but my next case yielded 2 sketches by Martineck, I'll email the scan to Dalekfan and hopefully he might be kind enough to post it for me

Thanks for posting the breakdown, Jason: sounds like you did okay!!
I'm disappointed that the autos are all redemptions; Barrie kept that fact close to his chest, didn't he?!
Is there much variance in the movie clip cards, ie are they significantly different images on each one??
I'm having problems uploading the pics for you: I have e-mailed you.

According to the Strictly Ink site they've sold out of cases and only have a few boxes left. |

My first box opened (526) has so far produced TWO John Bown Auto Redemptions and a Movie still card. So there are bonus boxes!!!
A mixed bag this release.
The plusses:
A nice selection of bonus cards to look for, and the cards have a nice appearance and distinctive orange colour. Plenty of the stills used are rarely seen ones.
The minuses:
The auto redemptions are the biggest one IMHO. I don't like the matt cards (I prefer them to be glossy) and there are only 5 cards to a pack. The box toppers are a nice touch but these are incorrectly numbered out of 2500 (the original planned print run).
Not my favourite SI Who release, but not far off. |

I've got about 7 stills the same!!! Barrie said they had orders for another 160 cases after they sold out. There might be a Big Screen Additions 2 next!!! I like the Dalek Chips I got a $25 and $50 chip in one of my cases. |

It'll be interesting to see what variation of stills there are...perhaps we can start a separate thread. There are 1000 Movie Still cards, yes?? The one I have is the Dr etc standing on the bank at the end of the 2nd Movie, as they watch the Dalek saucer explode.
There's a $250 Dalek chip on the Bay at the mo, but the price....!!!!

I hope fellow collectors are enjoying opening their cases/ boxes.
I know it is early days yet, but there seems to be little about sketches and none on eBay as yet, just the $250 chip.
Is everyone too busy opening boxes/ life in general to have had time to scan and upload?? ;-)
I am not going for this set, but still have a sense of excitement to see what surfaces. Some of the dalek sketches on the SI website are very good. Fingers crossed for you all. |

Hi Nick.
Yes busy busy at work, but once I've done some serious opening (probably at the weekend) I'll start posting on my new Collectors Page. There will be at the very least one colour Dalek sketch card & one casino chip on there though!!!! |

Thanks Dalekfan, can't wait to see your Dalek sketch and well done on getting a chip , I'd like to know just how many there are of each one. If there are only 4 different types and there are 25 of each then they should all be worth the same as the $250 chip on ebay!!! Autos are being sined at the moment and are expected to be with Strictly Ink in about 3 weeks time |

In all fairness that is NOT the value of a movie chip, but someones percieved value of it. Quite daft IMHO. Having said that some sketches have now apperead ar equally daft prices. OK they are mainly "BIN" or "Best Offer" but all the same... insanity!
The only one has a start price of £99.99, well I can see that happening... not. Still if people in this cash strapped time have more money than sense, who am I to question.
Oh by the way nice pulls Doctor Jas. |

Doctor Jas Great cards, thanks for posting them! The Martineck falling dalek is rather special. Partial to the Pronovost sketch too! |

Ah well my case produced the following:-
Case Toppers - Ususal foils and a fantastic Hack sketch of a roboman.
Box 971 Gold Cards - F2, F3, F6 + F7 Tovey Auto Redemption Henderson Sketch
Box 972 - Unopened
Box 973 - Unopened
Box 974 Gold Cards - F2, F3, F6 + F7 Tovey Auto Redemption Henderson Sketch
Box 975 Gold Cards - F1, F4, F5 + F9 John Brown Auto Redemption Movie Clip Card
Box 976 Gold Cards - F2, F3, F6 + F8 David Graham Auto Redemption Movie Clip Card
Box 977 Gold Cards - F1, F5, F7 + F9 Roberta Tovey Auto Redemption Movie Clip Card
Box 978 Gold Cards - F2, F4, F6 + F8 John Brown Auto Redemption Robert Aragon Sketch
Box 979 Gold Cards - F2, F3, F6 + F8 David Graham Auto Redmption Movie Clip Card
Box 980 God Cards - F1, F5, F7 + F9 Roberta Tovey Auto Redmption Leah Mangue Sketch
And that as they say is that. 5 Sketches from my case, not too shabby. I don't think I will bother opening the last 2 boxes as looking at the pattern of distribution the best I could hope for would be another 2 Auto Redemptions, probebly a Graham and a Brown and a couple of Movie Clip cards. One minor gripe, not a bloody Dalek Sketch in sight. |

Nice: and thank you for posting. A decent number of sketch cards (with a good selection of subjects), and a nice Hack case topper too!!!
I think you're right about the unopened boxes too. |

My case produced 4 sketches in the packs: 2 by Robert Aragon, 1 by Nik and 1 by Leah Mangue. Rather than post them here I will put them on my Collectors Page in due course.
My case sketch was a beaut by Carolyn Edwards of a Dalek. With grateful thanks to a very kind friend for that. |

I'm disappointed by the way SI have spread the sketches through the boxes in a predictable manner, meaning it's easy for sellers to cherry-pick if they're that way inclined. At least with the Monochrome release you had a good chance of picking up a sketch in every box you bought.
I was going to buy a few odd boxes, but I won't be bothering now. |

Hi Dave. I believe there is a simple way of cherry-picking which I don't want to specify on here. I have emailed you to clarify. |

Addendum for box buyers: If you can, buy 3/4 consecutively numbered boxes. That way you've got a very good chance of getting a sketch card. |

I can't fault your logic there DF, but at £105 - £140 it makes it a pricey sketch card. Unless you hit a higher end card it just wouldn't be worth the cost. The more logical option would be to get 5 sequentially numbered boxes and hold out hopes for 2 sketches, in either case I don't really believe that it would be worth it. Chances are you would hit a Henderson of which there are 108 therefore the sketch would only be worth £50 tops. |
