Very happy with the sketches in my case. I only got one sketch by an artist that I have got a return from and the double from Mcneil. So I have 14 of the artists so far for my master set. The Pence and Graham sketches are a big help as they are artists that did low numbers. I got no auto's in any of my boxes which are listed as 1 in each box. |

Nice to hit two rarities in the same case. There are only 25 sketches each from McNeil and Pence. Also, useful to know that the McNeils are in the boxes as they were originally only going to be available as binder case incentives. Like everyone else, I'd like to see your Pence sketch. |

It is weird. Doctor Jas only got three outs in his case. I seem to have hit a lucky streak on my cases with 9, 8 and 7 autos respectively in the three cases I've opened. |

Some nice sketches in there. I was determined to support the artists rather than Strictly Ink on this release - hence the modest purchase. Yes I can count the fourth box was for a friend. Luckily he got box 61 no redemption for me .
The sketches by Don and Amy are available for trade as I have decided that if an artist worked on the first Big Screen release I will not be collecting them on the Mono set. |

I was a little disappointed not to pull a Nik as I love his work. However having said that, 10 different artists, a full set of autos and 2 complete chase sets. All in all I'm pretty pleased with my case, cheers Jason.
Incidentally I tried to post my scan of the sketches however I got nowhere fast. It's probably just me so if anyone's got any pointers feel free to contact me as I'd like to get them posted if I can. |

| Nice case you got there Ian. I'm just working through my final case and none of them managed a 10 different artist split, so well done on that I'm not complaining though due to some of the duplicates I picked up in the process, e.g. final case started with two Leah Mangue cards |

So we know now that boxes 40 through 53 inclusive had no auto card in any of them.
33 autos out of 55 boxes declared so far. Hit rate of only 60%, which is well short of 1 per box (which I know was never promised, but I think is what was anticipated). |

| Thanks for posting the scan Steven. Yeah that Bergren sketch is probably my favourite and a nice find at the end of the case. Incidentally the scan doesn't really do it justice as you can't really appreciate a lot of the finer detail, it looks so much better in the flesh!! |

I think I did pretty well with regard to auto inserts with final figures of 9,8,7,8 and 9 over my five cases. So it looks like there were a few problems in the early cases but not the later ones.
I did hit quite a lot of colation problems with sketch cards across my cases. They sort of evened out overall though. The missing part of the Robert Aragon three-parter in my first case was a real let-down. In case two, only finding half of a Rich Molinelli two parter was balanced in my favour with the Carolyn Edwards two-parter and a pair of Chris Henderson colour cards. Getting two Jason Davies sketches in case 4 wasn't too exciting but a nice selection otherwise. Case 5 with no less than three Leah Mangue cards was amazing, though I would have been a whole lot happier if one of them had been a Sean Pence Again, I can't really complain as the cards in that last case were nearly all excellent.
I'm not too sure what to think about getting a Ryan Orosco Redemption in every case !
Finishing up 7 artists short of Master set was a bit of a downer as I had hoped to do a bit better than that. Getting no additional artists in the last two cases was a little frustrating but that's life
BTW, I see Barrie has updated the Strictly Ink site slightly. On the artist index page there are now only 23 artists showing and, for some reason, Jed Raven has disappeared from the screen. |
